How did Go Green El Dorado get started?
In Feb/Mar of 2006, the American River Conservancy hosted a discussion group on Choices for
Sustainable Living. The original
participants wanted to help spread the word on what resources were
available locally in El Dorado County, so this website
was created to collect all that information in one place. This
discussion group was one of a series
offered by the Northwest Earth Institute that is available to
anyone interested in learning more about sustainable and green living.
